Meet our Pastor and Session

Susan Horn Haney

has been chosen by Unity Presbyterian Church and Foothills Presbytery to serve our congregation and this community to bring us closer to each other and deepen our relationship with God.

Tracy has served as a session member with Unity for over 10 years.  Her hope is to share Unity with everyone and to continue the path of Mission and Service in our community.

Betsi is a detail oriented person who is perfect for keeping the records of Unity's work.  Mission work, the care of the environment and beautiful music are her passions.  

Chris is great at everything.  He has (many times) single-handedly changed the look of our interior.  He praises God for his gifts and he freely shares them with us.  

Jim who has an extensive background with Duke Power and more, keeps all our systems "go".  He is hands on and ready to step into all the hard stuff.  His dedication to this church family shows through his tireless work to keep our campus running.  

Donna has served in many churches and her experience adds to our session.  She is helpful with missions, with the everyday boring things that need to be addressed and keeping us on track.  Planning is Donna's calling on our board.  

Henry brings years of session and treasury experience with him to Unity.  Money and management are his second nature and missions are his heart.  Giving to the parts of our community in need is very important to him and Unity's values mirror Henry's commitment. 

From the Queen of England, and Jimmy Carter to Unity Presbyterian Church-  We are SO LUCKY to have this extraordinary musician play for us every Sunday.  

The Lawn-Master of Unity and the reason we can hear our sermons, James is our welcoming committee, too.  James is "the church" and although he never wants recognition, we all are grateful to him as the Spirit shines all around him.
