Our Ministries

Sharing our blessings through food has been the heart of Unity for many years.  Unity has faithfully supported The Upstate Family Resource Center in Boiling Springs through weekly food donations, seasonal requests and especially at Christmas when it comes time to sponsor a family or during the summer with Back Pack items for returning school students.  Unity supports Piedmont Care, an HIV/Aids care and education non profit; Light medicine cabinets items and kitchen pantry items are collected several times a year and donated. Unity had a coat drive last year that directly benefited our community and the Northside Community Center. Our own troops from Boiling Springs received a care package from Unity Church via the Blue Star Women's group filled with all their favorite things. "To Go" bags were filled with light medicine cabinet items and socks and small towels for the homeless community and distributed directly to the homeless. We look forward to your idea that will help our community get more involved with your community.

Groups

Unity Presbyterian has a Prayer Shawl ministry - shawls are knitted lovingly, by hand by one our our members and are available for any need - from baby showers to  hospice care.  Please come in to receive one.

We also support Piedmont Car, Inc. - a non profit supporting families living with HIV/Aids and education about the prevention of HIV/Aids.  Our mission includes food and toiletry items and participating in World Aids Day.

A winter coat drive for children and adults gave away over two dozen coats and we have sent a care package overseas to our local troops as well as homeless packages.

Bible

Study

New series start regularly and you can wait until a new one starts or jump right in.  We are ready for you anytime - Learning about Jesus and the Holy Sprit and God really helps you get closer.  Every Tuesday at 12 noon, we meet to discuss a specific book or study course related to a better and more fulfilling walk with God.  Sometimes we simply pray for all of our needs. It is a casual, uplifting hour filled with love and worship and there is room for you.  Call 803-960-6515 to find out the location and course study topic.
